What is RPO? Why is it important?

RPO stands for Recruitment process outsourcing: RPO is simply the outsourcing process. It is the full or partial outsourcing of a company’s internal recruiting function to an outside specialist who assumes the role of the company’s recruiting department.  RPO is very beneficial for all hiring companies. RPO providers invest the time, energy, and sourcing into searching screening, and presenting the best available talent to any company. RPO saves time also. Through the RPO process, we are able to find the perfect candidate for any particular Job. Now how does it work?

There are some steps for RPO through which we can find the matched candidates for any role:

1: Preparing: It is the most important part. In preparing, we have to understand the job requirement or hiring demands of the team. The rates mentioned in the job description, the location, etc.

2:  Sourcing: After understanding the job description we have to find the candidates through different portals as we have indeed, dice, monster, Linkedin, etc. After sourcing (finding) the candidate we have to go through the screening

3: Screening: This means determining the qualifying candidate Based on their skill set, Communication, etc.

4: Selecting: After the screening process there is a submission which means we select the candidate and we submit them. We schedule the interview that may include telephone, web, or face-to-face.

5: Hiring: After qualifying for the interview we hire the candidate. The hiring process includes background verification, releasing the offer, and Following up with the candidate on regular basis till the joining.

6:  Onboarding: This is the last stage of the recruitment process. It’s a very crucial stage as it can break the whole recruitment cycle. Onboarding is all about making the new employee feel welcomed and helping them to ease into their new working place. Onboarding starts with orientation, introduction, and training.
